I may do a separate post about it at some point, but carrying my camera around the city for candid street photography is still one of my most personally rewarding activities. It's both an exercise in being aware of my surroundings (especially in a city where retreating to an iPhone, or music, or even a blank stare is one of the easiest ways to mentally escape the crush of crowds), and remembering that images are always happening around us, every second of every day. Sometimes, it just takes being present in the moment (and dilligently carrying a camera) to capture that.
Two of my images were featured recently in Feature Shoot in an post with images from public transport around the world. The post has some great work - I absolutely love this genre of street photography.
The images featured in the blog post are the ones noted here, but you can see them and the rest of my street work here.
